Leadership

Rajeev Purewal has served as the Vice President, Citizen Experience Delivery since 2023. 

With a focus on the Service BC Contact Centre in British Columbia, he is dedicated to the strategic direction, client guidance, and operational excellence of our contact centre operations. Mr. Purewal also provides executive leadership to the Maximus Business Performance department, including the Quality Assurance, Knowledge Management and Learning & Development teams. 

A performance-oriented leader with in-depth understanding of operational delivery, Mr. Purewal has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and business process re-engineering. He brings extensive change management experience and a proven track-record of driving efficiency improvements within a unionized environment. 

With over 15 years of progressive leadership at Maximus, Mr. Purewal possesses unique and diverse insights into the flagship Maximus contracts. He joined Maximus in 2005, and shortly thereafter secured an Operations Management position. He later expanded his responsibilities with a succession of senior Management and Director roles. Prior to his current position, Mr. Purewal held the title of Assistant Vice President. 

Mr. Purewal brings a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University of Victoria and a Certificate in Clinical Leadership from Harvard Business school.
