Local engagement efforts
People are at the heart of Maximus Canada. We're proud to support our employees in their work with local communities, and to contribute towards their success.
Breakfast at George Jay Elementary School
Every Friday morning since 2008, Maximus employees serve a nutritious breakfast to students from low-income families at one of Victoria BC's inner-city schools.
Santas Anonymous Gift Drive
In support of the longstanding Santas Anonymous charity, which supports children and families in need during the Christmas holiday season, employees contribute presents, gift cards and money donations. Recent gift drives have contributed over 200 presents to Victoria-area children.
Help in Times of Need
Through donations from employees, donation matching, and direct corporate contributions, Maximus regularly supports Red Cross humanitarian and disaster relief efforts in Canada and around the world. This includes responses to the war in Ukraine, Hurricane Fiona in PEI, the Earthquake in Türkiye and Syria, BC Floods, Wildfires in Western Canada, and more.
Annual Spotlight
Through the Health & Wellness program, Maximus employees select one cause to specially recognize annually. Most recently, the team selected Food Banks Canada, contributing to support food security for families in need.
